- Most likely doing component testing in India
- Is smaller than the S-Presso
Suzuki’s very boxy and very small Hustler micro SUV has been spied on test in India. Launched in 2014, it is one of Suzuki’s well-known Kei cars and has most likely been snapped doing component/ hot weather testing near New Delhi.
The Hustler measures in at 3.3 metres with a wheelbase of 2.4 metres, putting it in the same size league as cars like the MG Comet or the Maruti Alto. The engine on offer is a Suzuki 660cc mill producing 48bhp in NA guise and 64bhp in turbocharged guise. A CVT is the only transmission and you get AWD as an optional extra. The design is completely boxy both on the inside and outside and is a tall boy. If you look closer it looks like a combination of the Jimny and the S-Presso micro SUV.
Given its size, powertrain, and design, we are unlikely to see the Hustler launched in India but if it does come along, we could expect it to find a place alongside the S-Presso micro SUV in the same price category.
