The ongoing Gaikindo International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2018 in Indonesia has many concepts on display. However, the one exhibit that caught our attention first is the new Ertiga Sport Concept MPV. Suzuki has showcased this new Sport Concept, which is based on the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV. These images give out the particulars that make it grab many eyeballs.
This sportier variant of the Ertiga MPV boasts of a number of upgrades both to the exterior and interior. The exquisite appearance is thanks to the custom brown paint job.
Up front is a new mesh grille with the same shape as that of the one on the regular MPV, but with a different pattern. This is paired with blacked-out headlamps with DRLs.Â
The car sports bigger alloy wheels, low profile tyres and side skirts which are a part of the body kit that includes front and rear bumper inserts.
The slammed look is well complemented by a large spoiler at the back and a faux diffuser. These along with the bumper scuff plates add to its exclusivity.
It is clear from the images that the MPV sits lower on the ground hinting that it might be running on lower springs. However, the new 1.5 litre K-Series petrol mill hasn’t been tweaked for performance.
