Suzuki unveiled the India-bound Baleno at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. The vehicle will be launched in India soon and sold through the Nexa showrooms. Before Maruti Suzuki launches the premium hatchback for the Indian market, let us have a look at the car through the pictures below.
The hatchback is based on a new-generation platform that boasts of increased rigidity and reduced weight. The exterior styling is based on a 'Liquid Flow' design theme.
The three-quarter angle shows off the sporty profile of the Baleno, which is low and wide. The avant-garde front section, character lines and contoured surfaces convey elegance and power.
The side profile emphasises a low and wide silhouette, which further underlines a strong and sporty look. The blackened A-Pillar and wrap-around windows add to this character.
The sporty yet elegant styling is further accentuated by the Y-shaped grille with Suzuki badging. The DRLs complement the projector headlamps.
The 16-inch alloy wheels have a design pattern that contrasts with the flowing design of the car. The lower trims will get 15-inch steel wheels with caps of a similar design.
The tail lamps are unlike the pattern seen on any of the other Suzuki cars. These LED rear combination lamps have a better illumination due to an inner lens that projects an even beam.
The interior boasts of an advanced multi-information colour display, active cruise control with speed limiter, and a Smartphone Linkage Display Audio compatible with Apple CarPlay*2.
