The South Korean carmaker Ssangyong along with the XiV-1 concept car also unveiled the LiV-1 concept here at the Auto Expo. LIV stands for Limitless Interface Vehicle and it depicts the new design language of the South Korean company which displayed the concept car for the first time outside its home turf.
Flexibility is the key design concept for the interior, where lines and curves come together to create a refined and inviting environment to achieve what is described as a lounge for the future.
The subsidiary of Indian SUV maker Mahindra & Mahindra said the LiV-1 has a dignified and premium stance, and is in tune with a futuristic technology beneficial to man. It boasts of an automobile interface with features such as “smart link,” “safe way” and “special sense”- all that can enhance a driver’s experience. The car comes in both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automatic transmission. The car, once it enters into production, will be available in both petrol and diesel guise.
Ssangyong did not talk about India launch at the conference, but we will surely love to see this on our roads soon.
