- Global debut in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show
- Based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) platform
- Exterior features include a new headlamp design and dynamic indicators
Skoda, as we know, is currently expanding its SUV and crossover range. After the Kodiaq and the Karoq, the Czech automaker is now preparing to reveal a new crossover. The brand has even released a teaser image showing the vehicle’s silhouette.
The teaser is the first indication of what the future crossover model, which will have its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show, will look like. The image provides a first glimpse of the front section and also shows the new LED headlamp design with separate daytime running lights at the top and integrated dynamic indicators.
Skoda says this new model combines the advantages of an SUV – raised seating position, better overview, comfortable ingress and egress, increased ground clearance, with the agility and handling of a compact car. Based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB), the crossover model will come with several assistance systems along with Skoda’s trademark ‘simply clever’ features.
