Skoda has announced that they will launch the Kodiaq at the beginning of 2017. The carmaker's new SUV was first previewed through images, followed by its unveiling at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The Skoda Kodiaq's production version is expected to exactly replicate the VisionS concept that it is based on. Its futuristic design boasts of new technology and future-oriented features in terms of connectivity, including mobile online services for the best information and safety. Then there is also a wide range of technology including options of six-speed manual gearbox, DSG transmission, front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
To add to the driving experience the Czech carmaker has added several features like driving mode select and the new Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC). With the help of these, one can configure the operation of the steering, accelerator, DSG transmission and suspension in multiple modes.
When launched Skoda will offer a choice of five engines that include two TDIs and three TSIs. The most powerful petrol engine of the lot is the 2.0-litre TSI mill, which has a power output of 180bhp. The large SUV also promises to be true to its character and feel at home even on rough roads thanks to its off-road mode. Skoda’s new campaign is now on and we know further information as it goes on.
