Effective from 1 March 2018, Skoda Auto will hike prices across its product lineup in India. The company attributes the hike in prices to the revision in custom duties which have been announced in the Union Budget. The price hike will be conducted in a phased manner.
Skoda states that the multi-step price increase will range between three to four per cent depending on the product and variant. However, initially the increase in price will be by one per cent which translates to an increase of Rs 10,000 - Rs 35,000. The Czech car manufacturer has also introduced loyalty bonus of up to Rs 50,000 for existing Skoda customers who intend to purchase another Skoda.
A complete list with the revised prices will be known over the next few days.
