The much-awaited Skoda Superb Sportline has been launched in India for an introductory price of Rs 28.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). The premium sedan is available in petrol as well as diesel engine options. The Superb Sportline gets a sportier makeover as compared to the standard model and is available in three colour options - Moon White, Velvet Red and Steel Grey.
The exterior is highlighted with glossy black detailing on side-view mirrors, front grill, side window frames, side door inserts and spoiler that underlines the sporty character of the car. The sedan comes equipped with 17-inch dual tone Drakon alloy wheels and the rear diffuser features chrome highlights. The vehicle gets a distinctive ‘Sportline’ badge on both front fenders.
To enhance its sporty quotient, the Superb Sportline gets LED ambient lighting, along with the three-spoke SuperSport multifunction steering wheel with paddle-shift, black perforated leather and silver stitching. The sedan features satin black Alcantara sports seats with integrated headrests and diamond stitching to further enhance the interior’s boldness. The electrically-adjustable driver and front passenger seats with three programmable memory functions come as standard. The chrome front and rear door sill strips with 'Superb' inscription and the chrome pedals add to the unique look of the car.
Under the hood, the Skoda Superb Sportline is powered by the existing 1.8-litre petrol that generates 176bhp/250Nm and the diesel variant is powered by the existing 2.0-litre engine that generates 174bhp/350Nm. Both the engines come mated to automatic transmission.
