Skoda’s upcoming Snowman SUV has been spotted undergoing trials at the Nurburgring circuit in Germany. Expected to make its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the Snowman will be positioned above the Yeti and will go on sale in Europe by 2016.
Aesthetically, the Snowman has been modelled along the lines of Skoda’s new design philosophy, which is seen in the Vision C Concept and the new Superb. Internally called A-Plus-SUV, the Snowman is based on Volkswagen’s new Tiguan, though it will be marginally longer than the Tiguan. The Snowman will be available in both front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions, while the powertrain options will include two petrol and two diesel engines.
