- Prices reduced for a limited period
- Offered in three variants
Skoda India has revised the prices of its MQB models, the Kushaq and the Slavia in June. Both models benefit from a significant price reduction and the addition of new variants. With this, the Slavia sedan is now available at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 10.69 lakh.
Customers can opt for the Skoda Slavia in three variants, namely, Classic, Signature, and Prestige across manual and automatic versions. With the price cut of up to Rs. 94,000, the Slavia now retails at Rs. 10.69 lakh for the base-spec variant, and Rs. 18.69 lakh for the top-spec Prestige AT variant (all prices, ex-showroom).
The automaker adopts this new strategy to make both models more accessible to a wider range of customers. Meanwhile, the brand has achieved this by managing the operational cost-efficiently and further passing on the cost reduction benefits to its customers. However, the prices are reduced for a limited time period.
Speaking on the initiative, Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said: “We have been in India for nearly a quarter of a century, and our commitment to this market is absolute. We have always been looking at offering more in product and affiliated actions. Since the announcement of our all-new compact SUV planned for 2025, we have maintained that with this new car, we are targeting new markets, younger customers and more accessibility to the brand. While the new compact SUV will open new markets for us, we have achieved some efficiencies in the Kushaq and the Slavia, which has enabled us to enhance the value in our offerings and pass on the benefits to our customers and fans.”
