Skoda has recently introduced the Sportline variants of the Slavia and Kushaq along with the Monte Carlo launch. The Sportline trim boasts cosmetic enhancements similar to the Monte Carlo variant but comes with many new features. This picture gallery details the Sportline's exterior and interior while mentioning details of both the sedan and the SUV.
Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Sportline: Now in pictures
Skoda has introduced this mid-level Sportline trim with the Slavia and the Kushaq based on customer feedback. It is slotted below the Monte Carlo Editions but gets identical cosmetic changes.
For example, there are blacked-out design elements for the grille, scuff plates, ORVMs, window lines, roof rails, taillamps, and an aero kit.
While the Slavia Sportline rides on 16-inch black alloy wheels, the Kushaq Sportline is shod with 17-inch black alloys.
Inside, the feature highlights of the Sportline variants include an electric sunroof, six airbags, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IRVM, and a connectivity dongle.
The carmaker was offering benefits of up to Rs. 30,000 for its first 5,000 Sportline buyers. However, the offer validity was limited and can be checked with dealers.
Powertrain
Powering the Sportline variants is a 1.0-litre TSI engine that produces 115bhp of power and 178Nm of torque. This mill comes mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The brand is also offering a 1.5-litre TSI petrol unit that churns out 148bhp and 250Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a seven-speed DSG.
