- The Scala will be the new compact model from Skoda.
- Will be revealed on 6 December.
- Might come to India anytime soon.
Just a week ahead of the official reveal, Skoda has revealed the interior images of the all-new Scala. We already saw the upmarket cabin of the new compact model from the Czech carmaker in the Vision RS Concept. Skoda will take the covers off the new Scala next week on 6 December.
As we said before, the Vision RS Concept’s interior looked production ready. And we aren’t surprised that Skoda has retained all the elements from the concept on the production model. Everything inside is clean, purposeful and understated. The massive floating touchscreen dominates the entire dashboard. The dash, which is all-black, has a beige-hue insert running across.
Behind the typical Skoda steering wheel is the virtual cockpit with all-digital dials. The leather upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control are also seen here in the pictures. And there aren’t many physical buttons seen on the centre console but there are a few behind the DSG gear lever controlling park assist and drive modes.
The new Scala will be revealed at a special event in Tel Aviv, Israel and it will go on sale in 2019. Stay tuned to CarWale for more details.
