Skoda has made it official that it will arrive at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show with a whole series of new models and variants. The Czech brand will be unveiling the new Octavia Scout and the Octavia G-TEC with CNG propulsion. However, what’s keeping us all interested is the new top-of-the-line Laurin & Klement variant of the Octavia which could find its way into the Indian market.
In Europe, the new L&K variant is available for the Octavia and the Octavia Combi. Sitting on top of the range, this new variant gets 18-inch aluminium wheels, bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and LED rear lights. Inside, there’s a new 4-spoke multifunction steering wheel, leather/alcantara seats in elegant brown and a premium CANTON sound system.
Under the hood, this new variant is powered by the same set of engine range found in the rest of the variants. The 1.8 TSI engine powers the petrol model while the diesel variants get a 2-litre TDI engine in two different states of tunes.
At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Skoda will also unveil the new Octavia Scout and a CNG version of the car called Octavia G-TEC.
