The Skoda Rapid Rider limited edition is about Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the Active trim it is based on. The feature list remains the same as its base trim and is offered only as a petrol model. However, its price, host of cosmetic changes and features are what make it more appealing. Here's a picture gallery highlighting the updates.
Cosmetically, this Rider Edition features a black finish on the grille. Then, the B-pillars are also blackened and there's a black coloured trunk lip garnish.
And, even if the car doesn't get alloy wheels, there are silver coloured wheel caps. Also, black decals on the sides help differentiate this from the regular sedan.
There's a dual tone dash and upholstery along with the feature list from the Active variant. So, buyers still get a 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.
Furthermore, all power windows, remote central locking, manual air-conditioner, front and rear armrest and electrically adjustable ORVMs are standard.
As you can guess, additional features inside the cabin are limited. Still, there are scuff plates with ‘Rapid’ inscription to add some appeal.
The Rapid Rider Edition can only be had with the 104bhp 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine, which comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
