Skoda Rapid Leisure special edition launched for Rs 9.06 lakh

Skoda has launched the Rapid Leisure special edition for Rs 9.06 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The limited edition version of the sedan gets a few additional features and is available in both petrol and diesel guise.

Based on the Ambition Plus trim, the Leisure edition gets extra features like the portable navigation system with rear view camera, rear parking sensors, 15-inch alloy-wheels, door sill covers and leatherette seat covers. The Leisure variant will have all three options of Ambition Plus trim – the 1.6 petrol MT, 1.6 petrol AT and the 1.6 diesel.

Skoda is not the only manufacturer offering special edition – the dip in automotive sales has put pressure on almost every car manufacturer. Even Maruti has announced a special edition of the Swift to battle falling demand. 

Edit: The above mentioned price is for the 1.6-litre diesel variant. The petrol powered Leisure special edition with manual transmission is priced at Rs 7,79,325 and the automatic variant is priced at Rs 8,79,625.
