Skoda India has now postponed the launch of its much-awaited Laura RS to early 2011, probably March 2011. The Laura RS which will be equipped with the 2.0-litre turbo-charged petrol engine and churns out 200bhp.
The other Skoda models like the Skoda Yeti and the Skoda Fabia facelift, could be expected to be launched in September and October 2010. Skoda had recently launched the manual variant of the Superb and upgraded its 2.0-litre Pump Duse diesel engines to common rail diesels on its Laura and discontinued the Octavia and the 1.9-litre diesel engine on the Laura as well.
