Skoda has already given some hints of its future design language when it presented the Vision C concept at the Geneva Motor Show last year. The upcoming new Superb will bring this fresh new design to series production when it goes on sale later this year. But, before the big reveal Skoda has officially given us all a closer look at the third generation model’s interior design.
While the overall design isn’t radically different when compared to the interiors of the existing model, Skoda is promising significant improvement in cabin quality and overall comfort. The rear seat comfort has been improved and the boot is now bigger as well, says the Czech automaker.
We have already seen the new Superb’s striking design in the previous set of spy photographs. The exterior, in fact, is heavily influenced by Skoda’s Vision C concept. In comparison to the sedate looking existing model, the upcoming flagship sedan has a significant and energetic design.
The 2015 Superb is underpinned by Volkswagen’s MQB platform which means it will share quite a few mechanical bits with the Volkswagen Passat. At present, the Superb is doing quite well in its segment and with this new model Skoda would be looking forward to keep the momentum going overseas as well as here in the Indian market.
