Skoda Octavia Onyx edition Image gallery

Skoda India recently started teasing the Octavia Onyx edition through their website. Last week, the carmaker also announced the prices of the car without releasing any pictures of the vehicle. So, here we are with exclusive images of the limited edition model that will be available for a short period. Take a look at the changes made to the car through this picture gallery. 

Christened as the Skoda Octavia Onyx Edition, this special variant features some cosmetic updates. There is an all-black treatment similar to the 'Black edition' that is sold globally.

Skoda is offering this trim within the existing Octavia model range, but with a refreshed design. It is only visually different from the standard model. 

As a part of the refreshed styling and new features, the car gets a body colour spoiler and new 16-inch Premia black alloy wheels.

It is launched in both 177bhp 1.8-litre petrol TSI mill and 140bhp 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine versions with no changes to the powertrain.

The petrol comes mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission, while the diesel comes paired to a six-speed DSG gearbox.
