Skoda Octavia Anniversary Edition launched

Skoda India has launched an Anniversary Edition of the Octavia sedan. Basically introduced to usher in the model year change, this Anniversary Edition introduces a new top-spec  variant for the D-segment sedan called Style Plus. It is available only with the top-spec 1.8-litre TSI AT and the 2.0-litre TDI CR AT models.
The Skoda Octavia Anniversary Edition gets a rear-view camera, keyless entry, new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control and most importantly the addition of side rear airbags taking the total number of airbags  offered to eight.
It will also be the first car from the Czech automaker’s Indian stable to be offered with their new SmartLink technology. The system allows for mirroring the display of a smart device on the screen of the vehicle allowing for easier access of applications, contacts and media. This system can be used with both Android and Apple devices.     
These features will become standard for this variant (Style Plus) once the Anniversary Edition scheme has been completed. The Octavia Style Plus has been priced at Rs 19.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the 1.8-litre TSI and Rs 21.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
