- Called Deep Black Pearl
- Showcased at Bharat Mobility Expo
The Skoda pavilion at the Bharat Mobility Expo had a lot of its crowd milling around the Kylaq as well as the Kodiaq, Superb and Octavia RS. But there was another star flying under the radar and that was the Kushaq Monte Carlo in a new shade called Deep Black Pearl.
It follows the same formula as the regular Kushaq Monte Carlo but with a new black colour on the inside and outside. In fact, Skoda has retained the red accents of the Monte Carlo range and they are present on the seats, steering wheel and dashboard. You also get red brake calipers as a part of the deal.
It is based on the top-spec Kushaq and that means things like climate control with rear AC vents, dual digital screens, USB-C charging ports, powered front seats with ventilation and a full LED light package.
The Kushaq Monte Carlo can either be had with Skoda’s 1.0-litre TSI petrol or its more powerful 1.5-litre petrol. The 1.0-litre TSI can be had with either a six-speed MT or a six-speed AT while the 1.5-litre can only be had with a seven-speed DCT.
Skoda has scheduled the Kushaq for a facelift this year and thus we may get to see this new colour with the facelift version of the Monte Carlo.
