- No mechanical changes expected
- Will adapt to ‘Modern Solid’ design language
It's official: The Skoda Kushaq will get a facelift in 2025. This will be the first major update for the SUV since its launch in 2021. As evinced by our spy images, the updates are expected to be cosmetic and will focus on moving the Kushaq to Skoda’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language. This design philosophy debuted in India with the Kylaq and should find its way to future Skoda models over the next two years.
The pictures also reveal an ADAS package, but the automaker has been reticent about revealing its plans for driver’s assistance systems for the Indian market. The Kushaq facelift will also get feature updates like a 360-degree camera and improvements to the connected car system as part of the package.
Finally, there are expected to be no mechanical changes and the Kushaq will continue with both its petrol engines. The lower-spec one is the 114bhp/178Nm 1.0-litre TSI, while the more powerful models will get a 148bhp/250Nm 1.5-litre TSI petrol. Both engines get a six-speed MT, while in terms of two pedal options, there is a six-speed AT for the 1.0-litre and a seven-speed DSG for the 1.5-litre engine.
