The RS badge in India is more synonymous with Skoda’s Octavia and Laura sedans. However in this age of SUV’s, Skoda is aiming to offer the same kind of performance with its people movers as well. We already told you about the RS variant of the Kodiaq coming here and now Skoda has unveiled a little more of the soon to be unveiled Kodiaq RS.
Let’s talk about the engine first since that will be the highlight of this car. With 236bhp and 500Nm from the 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel, expect the Kodiaq RS to give a lot of fast cars a run for their money. Also, this twin-turbo diesel will be the most powerful production diesel engine from Skoda yet.
Further to its powertrain, the Kodiaq RS will debut the company's new RS logo, which features a red V that stands for victory and symbolises the sportiness and power of the RS family. The Kodiaq RS will be unveiled in a new shade of blue which is a signature RS colour at the Paris motor show in October.
