- 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine now produces 265bhp
- Gets two interior theme options
Skoda has revealed the sportier iteration of the Kodiaq SUV, called the Kodiaq RS. Based on the second-gen version of the SUV, it gets a sportier styling, new features, and a high state of tune.
The Kodiaq, in its RS form, continues to be propelled by the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine paired with a seven-speed DSG gearbox and a 4x4 system as standard. This motor has been massaged to produce 60bhp and 80Nm more, thus resulting in an output of 265bhp and 400Nm of torque. The model can sprint from 0-100kmph in 6.3 seconds, up to a top speed of 231kmph.
Visual updates to the Kodiaq RS arrive in the form of multiple blacked-out elements, RS inserts, red brake callipers, new 20-inch alloy wheels, LED matrix headlamps, and the grille which now gets an illumination function. A few other notable updates include Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) Plus, slotted brake discs, and two-pot callipers on the front axle.
Inside, the new Skoda Kodiaq RS now comes equipped with two upholstery options, 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, vRS welcome logo, and a Canton-sourced music system.
