The second-generation Skoda Kodiaq has been showcased in India at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo. The SUV is based on the MQB platform and is slightly larger in size compared to the outgoing version.
The latest-gen Kodiaq features a revised grille, LED headlamps, and U-shaped LED tail lights at the back with the ‘Skoda’ lettering in the centre. Inside its cabin, it features a dual-tone dashboard with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. Other features include a two-spoke steering wheel, and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. Now, it is equipped with ADAS and comes in five and seven-seater configurations.
Powertrain
Globally, the Kodiaq is available with a range of petrol and diesel engines. However, the Indian model gets a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a seven-speed DSG.
