Skoda India will introduce a new model-year update for the Rapid which will make the popular C-segment sedan more desirable than before. The Rapid will soon be offered with additional features across all its three variants.
The Rapid is now available in Active, Ambition and Elegance variants but when Skoda introduces the new model year Rapid a few months from now, the latter variant will be called Style.
In terms of features, the forthcoming Rapid will gets dual airbags as standard across the range. Going into the details, the entry-level Active variants will come with electric adjustment for the wing mirrors as standard, while the Ambition variants will feature electrically foldable mirrors. Lastly, the renamed top-spec variant Style will get auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, cooled glove box and rain-sensing wipers as standard. Summing up the updates, Skoda will also introduce a new carbon steel colour option for the new Rapid.
Despite all these additions, prices for the Rapid will be increased marginally. This explains Skoda’s continuous efforts to push sales of the Rapid since Skoda is not only extensively advertising the Rapid, but also updating it with new features and better comfort levels.
