There has been a lot of movement in Skoda India’s variant line-up off late. Earlier this year, Skoda changed the nomenclature of the Elegance variants to Style for the Octavia and the Rapid and now, the Czech automaker has repeated the practice for its premium crossover, the Yeti.
The Yeti can now be had in two trim levels – Style 4x2 and Style 4x4. While the former front-wheel drive variant costs Rs 20.27 lakh ex-showroom, the more powerful and all-wheel drive Style 4x4 comes in at Rs 21.97 lakh. The Yeti was earlier available in Elegance 4x2 and Elegance 4x4 variants.
The new Style variants, however, do not bring any mechanical changes and the Yeti continues to be powered by the proven 2-litre TDI unit in two different state of tunes – 108bhp and 138bhp.
With the Yeti in place, Skoda India now has Style and Style Plus variants in most of their car range. At present, only the Superb continues to be sold in Elegance variants, however, the flagship sedan offering will be replaced by an entirely new model next year.
