Skoda India has introduced a MySkoda application for smartphones that will provide a single-window interface between the automaker and the customers. The app is available for download on the Apple’s iTunes Store for iPhone users and Google Play store for Android phone users.
This initiative is a part of Skoda’s Rs 100cr investment to improve the ownership experience of the customers along with the effort to digitalise the entire ownership experience with the brand. The app provides a variety of benefits and aims to increase the transparency with the brand while providing a hassle-free ownership experience to the customer. Along with transparency, the app includes facilities like providing billing record for every service, booking a service appointment, locating a dealer and connecting to Skoda’s customer care team. Furthermore, it will allow the customers to know the exact costs of all the parts and cost of each service as well.
The mobile app will also help the customers to remotely monitor their car’s service cycle, vehicle warranty, insurance and roadside assistance expiry date. They can easily update their personal details, store ownership-related documents on the app, or can refer to the jobs previously carried out on the car. Any update made through the app will be directly registered in the Skoda’s database.
Skoda India is updating the appearance of its dealer network and introducing many customer focused initiatives as part of this transformation. The automaker is looking ahead to a complete brand overhaul in order to strengthen its position in India.
