The all new face lifted Skoda Fabia is on its way. The face lifted Fabia was unveiled by Skoda at the Geneva Motor Show held in March this year. The car will be here by October this year and apart from the minor tweaks when it comes to the exterior, its whats under the hood that has undergone a significant change. The new Fabia will sport the diesel engine that currently powers the Volkswagen Polo.Â
The 1.2 litre diesel engine that currently does duty on the Volkswagen Polo will be fitted into the face lifted Skoda Fabia. The Fabia earlier boasted of a 1.4 PD TDI engine which produced around 68 bhp. With the Polo engine under the hood, the engine will produce 74 bhp.
