- First exterior sketch of the compact SUV revealed
- All-new front-end design expected
Skoda recently unveiled new details of the all-new Elroq, its first production model to adopt the brand’s Modern Solid design language. The first exterior sketch of the Elroq provides a preview of the design, including a new front with Skoda lettering and Matrix-LED headlights integrated into the bumper. Other visual highlights include details in dark chrome.
The exterior sketch shows off a newly designed front end. The highlight here is a flat, wide structure that replaces the traditional Skoda grille. The front is further distinguished by a split headlight design, with the slimmer upper section extending into the wings. The bonnet features the Skoda lettering in dark chrome, marking the Elroq as the first vehicle to embody Skoda’s new corporate identity.
The rear of the Elroq sports a roof spoiler and slim LED taillights. Additional visual highlights include dark chrome accents for the centrally positioned lettering on the tailgate. Officially, Skoda has earlier revealed that the Elroq will be 4.5 meters, which is longer than the Kushaq in terms of overall size. The model is expected to ride on the MEB platform and will likely share several components with its more expensive electric siblings such as the Enyaq.
