Czech automaker Skoda has rolled out its two-millionth vehicle for the Chinese market. The milestone vehicle is a Superb with a 1.4 TSI engine in Polar White.
Skoda says China is their largest single market. In 2017, the brand is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its entry into the Chinese market. Back in 2007, Skoda began production of the Octavia locally under the umbrella of SAIC Volkswagen. As the bestseller, the Octavia is at the top of the popularity scale. The two million vehicles sold in China included almost 11 lakh units of the D-segment sedan
Currently, Skoda makes Fabia, Rapid, Rapid Spaceback, Octavia, Yeti and Superb in China. The Kodiaq, Skoda’s first large SUV, will be launched in the second quarter of 2017.
