Skoda has revealed its global numbers as far as this year’s sales and deliveries are concerned. The Czech carmaker, in fact, increased its deliveries and sales marginally. From January to June, deliveries to customers rose by 2.8 per cent to the new record of 5.85 lakh vehicles.
Skoda extended its range in February this year with a crucial new product in the form of the Kodiaq SUV. Since then, the demand for it has remained good as factories work at full capacity. In the fourth quarter, Skoda will introduce the Koraq compact crossover which will add to the sales.
As part of its 2025 strategy, Skoda is currently working on further expanding its model range in the coming years. The primary focus will be on expanding the SUV portfolio. With a total of 27,100 deliveries since February, the new Kodiaq has had a successful start in the markets worldwide. The new Karoq, meanwhile, will make its global debut on May 18 in Stockholm.
