We are dealing with a bunch of very popular car terminologies here and each one of them is cult by itself. While almost everyone knows NASCAR (yes that´s the race where American cars go around an oval track for hundreds of laps), the cult of the Toyota Supra is a rather closed community. And then comes the exclusive long-tail, the moniker that has been reserved for the choicest of the McLarens that have redefined motoring in their own unique way.
But the fact of the matter here is that, in the coming season, Toyota’s entry to the NASCAR has got the all-new Supra face. The Supra, which is a coupe, has been transformed in to a sedan to accommodate the racing chassis and engine underneath.
The Supra has been shown as a concept and a running prototype at various shows and racing events but we haven’t been able to get a hold of the production-spec car. Just like us, all enthusiasts around the world are awaiting the return of the 90s icon that started off the car-tuning rage across the world.
