Not to be mistaken with Fiat, Seat is a Spanish automaker which is a part of the Volkswagen Group. Known for making practical, fast hatchbacks, the brand has just announced the Leon ST Cupra 280 – its newest offering, which is claimed to be the fastest estate car around the Nurburgring.
With a record-breaking time of 7 minutes and 58 seconds, the Leon ST Cupra 280 is the fastest estate car around the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany. The car has just made its public debut at this year's Volkswagen tuning festival in Worthersee in Austria.
Rather interestingly, the 280 estate is quicker than the smaller three-door hatchback version around the Nurburgring. Both models feature the same 2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 278bhp of power.
