SCOOP: Volkswagen Passat 2011 spotted in Mumbai

Volkswagen will be launching the all-new Passat on the 29th of March but the car is already in Mumbai and we caught a glimpse of the car as it made its way back to the showroom after a day out in the sun, shooting for an ad campaign. The cosmetic changes on the car are evident and the badging at the rear also read '2.0 TDI' so be rest assured the diesel variant will make its way here.

Volkswagen will kick-off its 'Think Blue' campaign along with the launch of the Passat in India. The 16-valve 2.0 common-rail turbo diesel engine will churn out 140bhp and will get a 6-speed DSG. The Passat will compete with the likes of Honda Accord and we think that the car will be priced somewhere between Rs 20-25 lakh.
