- EV version of the Curvv to be launched on 7 August
- Third all-electric model to achieve full five-star safety ratings
As we inch closer to the launch of the much-awaited Tata Curvv and Curvv EV, the latter of which is scheduled for 7 August, we have got another exclusive news about the Coupe SUVs. This time around, we have details of the crash tests of both iterations of the Curvv conducted under GNCAP and BNCAP.
As per our sources, the Tata Curvv in both of its guises (EV and ICE), has scored a full five-star rating in the GNCAP and BNCAP tests. With this, the upcoming coupe SUV joins the list of other Tata SUVs including the Safari, Harrier, Nexon, Nexon EV, and the Punch EV, to achieve the highest safety scores.
We already expected the Curvv to fly high in terms of safety standards considering the record of the recent Tata models. As for the safety suite, the Curvv will come equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic parking brake with auto hold, all four disc brakes, three-point seatbelts with reminders for all passengers, traction control, 360-degree camera with blind spot monitor, and a Level 2 ADAS tech.
