- ‘Dream Series’ to be launched on 4 June
- To be sold in limited numbers
Maruti Suzuki, to boost sales of its entry-level hatchbacks, will launch a new special edition on 4 June. It will be called the ‘Dream Series’ and will be offered with the Alto K10, Celerio, and the S-Presso at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 4.99 lakh. Bookings for the same have commenced today and this new edition will be sold in limited numbers during the month of June.
The Dream Series edition will bring in more features such as an infotainment screen with smartphone connectivity, reverse parking camera, and a sound system in the lower variants as this new edition will likely be based on the entry-level variants of the hatchbacks. Currently, the Alto K10, S-Presso, and the Celerio are available at a starting price of Rs. 3.99 lakh, Rs. 4.26 lakh, and Rs. 5.36 lakh, respectively.
If we evaluate the sales of these models in April 2024, the Indian automaker managed to sell 11,519 units of the Alto and the S-Presso. This is a significant drop in number, as the brand sold 14,110 units of these models in April 2023.
