Rolls-Royce’s much awaited SUV, the Cullinan has been spotted again, this time undergoing final testing in the north of Europe. The ultra-luxurious model will go on sale in 2018.
Previous spy pictures of this SUV have all been of the car wearing a Phantom shaped disguise, rather than the taller, more imposing profile shown here. The Cullinan will now take part in cold weather testing in the Arctic Circle. However, it will also be tested in extreme heat, travelling to the Middle East later on in 2017.
Rolls Royce has made it official that the all-wheel drive Cullinan will be based on an all-new aluminium architecture that will underpin all of the brand’s vehicles from 2018 onwards. An all-new suspension system is being primed for the Cullinan too, alongside the all-wheel-drive system.
Like the Bentley Bentayga, this new ultra luxurious model will carry an elite status among the raft of premium SUVs that are already on sale. We expect the production-spec model to go on sale in 2018.
