Rolls Royce has launched the Wraith in India for a price tag of Rs 4.60 crore. The Wraith was first unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and India is one of the early markets to start accepting bookings for the premium car.
The high-performance coupe is based on the Ghost and gets a 6.6-litre twin turbo V12 mill. The engine churns out 624bhp and 800Nm and has the ability to do 0-100kmph in 4.6 seconds, making it’s the fastest Rolls Royce ever built. The engine is mated to Rolls-Royce’s unique Satellite Aided Transmission technology fitted eight-speed ZF gearbox.
Rolls Royce uses “on-board valet”, voice command system for both sat-nav and infotainment system. For the more conventional user the Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller uses touchpad with pinch and pull gestures that mimic smartphone interface. The Wraith comes with service package that covers the complete service and maintenance of this luxury coupe for the first four years (unlimited kilometers).
At Rs 4.60 crore (ex-showroom Delhi) the Wraith is one of the most expensive cars available in India and to market the new product Rolls Royce is taking the new car for a three-month long all India tour.
