Luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce has announced its sales were up by 33 per cent in the first six months of 2014. This is attributed to the huge demand for the Ghost, Phantom and Wraith models in Europe, according to the company.
The British luxury carmaker claims that sales in Europe were up by 60 per cent, the increase in Asia Pacific region was to the tune of 40 per cent followed by the Middle East where sales were up by 30 per cent. The US market and China also showed a rise with double-digit numbers and Germany's sales also contributing in big numbers.
It is said that the current sales is on par with its sales target for 2014.The carmaker has said that along with standard sales, the number of cars being modified through its bespoke service is also running at record levels.
Commenting on the occasion, company boss Rorsten Müller-Ötvös said: "This is an excellent half-year result and demonstrates the continued confidence that our customers have in our company and our fine cars."
