The eighth generation of the uber-luxurious Rolls Royce Phantom will make its global debut at the end of 2017. Revived in 2003 by BMW after buying out the brand, it will be the second Phantom to come to life under the guidance of the Bavarian automaker.
As we have seen from official images as well as our exclusive spy shots, this new Phantom will sport an evolutionary design where it will retain the famous grille, face and incredibly lengthy side profile.
With a Rolls Royce, you can practically customise the car right down to the last swatch of paint under the spare tyre. This means that the company will offer an unlimited number of combinations in terms of interior trim.
It seems quite likely that this eighth generation Rolls Royce will draw its motivation from a 6.6-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 563bhp/820Nm and the rear wheels being powered by an eight-speed AT.
There is no doubt that the new Phantom will arrive in India. We suspect that existing and potential buyers have already been contacted and they have already put down a deposit to own a new piece of luxury by the end of the year.
