Premium luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce will launch the Ghost Series II, in India,on November 7. The Ghost got a few changes in 2012; however the Series II gets more subtle changes to the exterior and interior also a few additions to the options list.
The Series II gets two rectangular LED units instead of the round main headlamps, two new alloy wheel options, along with new paint shades and a new rear bumper. It also gets new seats with reworked electronic adjustments and heating options. The instrument cluster gets marginal changes, a new infotainment system and a 10-inch multimedia screen with a touchpad controller for infotainment.
It will be powered by the same 6.75-litre V12 engine churning out 563bhp and 780Nm mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will hit a top speed limited to 250kmph and accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds.
Rolls-Royce also claims the Series II has better ride and handling dynamics than the previous car and it also offers enhanced driver feedback.
Currently, the Ghost is sold in normal and extended wheelbase variants in India. Its prices start from Rs 3 crore in India, which will go up marginally for the Series II.
