Rolls-Royce has the Phantom in both coupe and convertible form, with the latter unusually dubbed as the Drophead Coupe. It’s natural, then, for the British luxury carmaker to introduce two-door versions of its smaller Ghost sedan.
While we already have the coupe version of the Ghost in the form of the Wraith, Rolls-Royce is now working on the convertible model which is named Dawn. Scheduled to arrive later this year, this new model has been spied with its soft-top undisguised for the first time.
The car is essentially a soft-top version of the Wraith, which means it will continue to feature the latter’s twin-turbo, 6.6-litre V12 engine with 624bhp on tap.
With the Phantom and the Wraith already on sale in India, it shouldn’t be too difficult for Rolls-Royce to bring the Dawn to the Indian market, following the car’s global debut.
