Rolls-Royce might soon launch the convertible Dawn in India soon. The carmaker has imported one car to our country recently, hinting at its imminent launch.
The Dawn comes powered by a twin turbo 6.6-litre V12 mill, which churns out 563bhp of power and 780Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, which helps the car do the 0-100kmph sprint in just 4.9 seconds. However, the USP of this vehicle is its fabric roof that opens in 22 seconds. This super luxury convertible has been specially designed for those who love the idea of open-top-driving.
The exterior colour options includes a midnight sapphire blue colour and a contrasting interior in mandarin orange. The open-pore wood deck, from where the roof comes out, ends in a console between the rear seats. The carmaker has described this to be designed to look like a cascading waterfall.
Rolls-Royce products are some of the most expensive vehicles money can buy. The Dawn is also one such product, which is similar to the Phantom Coupe, but pitted to be the sexiest Rolls-Royce built till date. We can expect the beautifully packaged car to be offered to the most esteemed Rolls-Royce clientele in India soon.
