After launching the Captur in the mini SUV market and the Nissan Qashqai-based Kadjar soon after, Renault is busy working on yet another SUV model which will take shape in 2017. Technically, this new model will share a lot of bits with the X-Trail, including the latter’s engine range.
The engine range, in all probability, will consist of a 130bhp diesel engine and a 163bhp petrol engine. However, the design will be significantly different from the Nissan. The SUV’s design, in fact, will based on Renault’s new flagship sedan Talisman.
Renault is expected to showcase this new model at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016, with prices similar to those of the Nissan X-Trail.
