Renault, as we know, is resurrecting its sports car brand, Alpine. What’s more, our spies have managed to spot the brand’s Porsche 718 Cayman rival.
Rumored to be called the Alpine A120, this upcoming offering will get a lightweight aluminium chassis in tandem with aluminium bodywork. The spy shots suggest the overall shape of the production car won't stray far from the Alpine Vision Concept from early last year. A 0-100 kmph time of 4.5 seconds has been confirmed, and in France the Premiere Edition cars will sell for between 55,000 to 60,000 Euros.
Reservations for the A120 will be limited to select European countries and Japan. Deliveries, meanwhile, will take place in late 2017, but Japan and the UK (both right hand drive markets) will get it a little later.
