Giving us a sneak peek into the Renault’s vision of the future, the French car maker has unveiled their renowned Trezor concept. With its out-of-this world and beautiful looks, the Trezor concept also showcases Renault’s technological prowess in the future of mobility.
The two-door coupe sits as low as possible and the flowing aerodynamic lines make it look fast even while standing still. The styling cues of the Trezor are inspired from the DeZir concept unveiled back in 2010 and the elements of which can be seen in all Renaults today. With its assertive stance and distinctive front-end with the C-shaped lighting signature, the Trezor is powered by a Formula E motor, underlining its performance. The one piece door opens like a lid, wanting you to jump over into the driver seats. The cockpit is sporty and electric epitomizing the French design.
Renault also unveiled another concept car, developed in India and by designers trained at the design academy in India, guided by the research and development centres in Mumbai and Chennai. Built for those who want to escape the urban hustle-bustle, the concept is a chic two-door coupe built to suit the Indian taste.
Renault, one of the largest sellers of electric cars in Europe, has also showcased the Zoe e-Sport concept, the electric hatchback. Built with carbon-fibre, the Zoe e-Sport is light and is powered by electric motors with a combined output of a whopping 460bhp and 640Nm of torque with a 0-100kmph dash in 3.2 seconds only. Designed in line with the latest sporty Renault styling, the Zoe e-Sport previews the production Zoe hatchback that has a range of over 450kms.
