We have already covered the first impressions of the Renault Triber, which you can read about here. The Triber is a sub-four-meter seven-seater that offers practical and spacious interiors. It will be available in four trims and will be offered across manual and AMT options.
It is based on an all-new CMF-A+ platform, which is a modified version of the Kwid’s platform. The Renault Triber will be pitted against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Hyundai Grand i10. It will pack features like an eight-inch MEDIANAV infotainment system, cooled glove box, digital MID, EASYFIX third-row seats, cooled central area, and AC vents and 12V charging ports in all three rows. What’s more? The Renault Triber will also get a host of accessory packs.
Under the hood, the Triber will be powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that makes 71bhp and 96Nm. The motor will be paired to a five-speed manual gearbox or an Easy-R AMT. As far as safety features are concerned, it will get four airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, front seat belt reminder and high-speed alert. It is expected to be priced in the bracket of Rs 5-7 lakhs (ex-showroom).
