The Triber will be offered, at the time of launch, with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 71bhp/96Nm. This engine will be offered with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automated manual transmission. It is already offered in a crop of Renault’s European super minis as well some of their models in South America.
The Triber gets McPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam setup at the rear. Ceat has collaborated with Renault to provide the tyres and will offer its Fuelsmarrt range in the size of 165/80 R14 for the Triber.
