Renault will launch the Triber sub four-metre seven-seater model in India tomorrow. Bookings for the Triber, which is based on a modified version of the CMF-A platform, began on 17 August at all Renault dealerships against an amount of Rs 11,000.

Feature highlights of the model include projector headlamps, LED DRLs, faux skid plates, wraparound tail lights, flared wheel arches, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, AC vents and 12V charging ports for all three rows, engine start/stop button, cooled glove box and an Eco drive mode.
Powering the upcoming Renault Triber will be a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 71bhp at 6,250 rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. This motor will be paired to a five-speed manual transmission at launch while an AMT unit will be offered later. Once launched, the Renault Triber will rival against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The model is likely to arrive with a price tag in the range of Rs 5.7 lakhs (ex-showroom).
