The Renault Triber made its global debut in India last month. While the company is yet to commence bookings for the compact seven-seat car, we can confirm that bookings will commence next week. An official announcement will be made in the days to come, while the Triber is expected to be launched in India in August.
In the build-up to its launch, dimensions of the Renault Triber have been revealed. It measures at 3990mm in length, 1739mm in width and 1643mm in height. The Triber has a wheelbase of 2636mm and a ground clearance of 182mm. The car comes with features like a cooled central storage area, 12V charging sockets and AC vents in each row and a cooled glove box among other things.
Under the hood, it will employ a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol motor that pumps out 71bhp and 96Nm. Transmissions options will include a five-speed manual unit and an AMT. As far as pricing is concerned, the Renault Triber is set to undercut mid-size hatchbacks like Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10, Ford Figo and others.
